Model number VHT 61W
Cartridge numbers 115277 602-s 204-2?
Needle numbers mg 78

I wanting some information on how to repair this record player and possible replacement parts needed. When playing a record the sound can be heard softly but doesn't play through speakers. Speakers are working as they can be heard when playing the radio.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Those floating cartridges are long obsolete now, and impossible to find.
Nevertheless, even finding one now it's decades old, and likely defective.
Due to the original design of the tonearm/cartridge, the way to go now is to retrofit Varco TN4's and rewire the system, along with adding counterbalance springs to these changers.
Of course, along with aging, the whole changer needs overhauling now.
I've done enough of them for customers to know.
Additionally, the tuner, amp, and PS chassis are in need of overhaul as well.
Never got one in that didn't need restoration.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.
