Hi guys, new here and working on my first jukebox, usually do pinball and video games I picked up this rockola 446, been stored for a few years, was told worked when put away, I believe the guy, have bought pins from him before. It lights up, the turntable spins, you can make a selection causing the 2 rotary arms to spin around the vertical disc with the pins in it(sorry, new to me), am told at this point when it stops the record carousel should rotate and load, but nothing happens.I tried the service switch, on works the turntable, off stops it and the 3rd position is supposed to rotate the record cradle but does not, you can hear the relay click however. The coin mechanism under the coin slot is gone, but the lights are on to make a selection, but it usually says now playing C2, I was told there may be a breaker to reset the mechanical parts but I cant find one, any and all ideas are appreciated, like I said its all new to me.
Thanks..

Is the (record) Gripper arm over the basket, or over the turntable ?

OK--then the "basket motor" should have power when the service switch is in "scan" position. You noted that you were looking for a circuit breaker--don't recall for sure, but at some time the CB's were introduced as replacements for a fuse--Might just be that a fuse is blown--it would be a 1.6 amp slow blow type--probably marked "Mechanism". Do NOT replace it with anything larger, or you risk burning up a motor, or a fire ! Also--do not replace it if it has an "oversize","blown", fuse there now. If that's the case, you will need to locate the problem before replacing the fuse (or pushing the "CB" ).

ok, I checked all fuses with meter, all ok(now),no circuit breaker to be found, scan does nothing, but you can hear a relayor solenoid click.

Got the Service Manual ?--gonna need to look at the schematic--
Was a fuse "blown" ? was it the correct size ? Did it blow a second one ?
Is the scan motor turn-able by hand , or is it "frozen" ?

There were a few blown, most were overfused but have not blown since, the carriage is not turnable by hand if thats what you mean, not sure if thats the scan motor, will have to get schematic and check, I believe the 445 manual is the same.I will get back to you..Thanks.

Just my 2 cents:
My 450 had power to everything but still would not turn the carousel or the gripper arm. I ended up finding some parts bent causing a jam.
I looked on a 454 I have that I am parting out and was able to use those parts. Although one part on it was bent the same as the 450. I do not know the name of the parts but it’s the part that lifts the playing arm. On the bottom of it there is a short pin that goes into a grove. It was bent causing everything to jam. There was also a metal pin on the collar the gripper arm is attached to that was bent.
I am new so I don’t know the actual names to these parts but I can post some pictures this evening if that would help.

You might try ' thearcadeboneyard.com'
Under heading 'pdf juke manuals'.
If they don't have the exact model I'm sure they'll
Have ones very similar. Raven
