I found this message board while researching the Packard Bell stereo console that you see pictured. My wife and I picked her up for 20 bucks at our local Goodwill some months back & she has sat idle ever since. She powers up & the turntable rotates, but sound no workie. There was a new stylus included in the purchase & replaced the broken one and got my Wife's "Get Your Wings" a' spinnin'..... all to no avail of course
After reviewing similar first-timer's posts, I shut her down and unplugged her
So the basic info that I am looking for is the Model No. and Year, if that is possible to ID from my photos. I would look into her further, given that information, and decide whether I want to "do it right"... or pass her along to someone that will.
My thing is the collection and repair of old clocks.... I have about 70 in running and non-running order, so I gotta estimate the "order of magnitude" that a proper job would entail.
Thank you & any advice is appreciated
