Seeburg 100M B from 1951

by Andre » Sun Mar 03, 2013 5:02 am

Hi,

I have a 1951 Seeburg 100M B. Just bought it recently and I'm really proud to own a piece of Americas jukebox history. Recently, after playing a record, the record was not placed back into its position and the machine just stops. The selectomatic will not go back to the normal operation mode. I don't really know were to start checking for errors since I'm fairly new to the jukebox owners community. Does anybody had a similar problem or knows what to do?

Thank you!
Andre

Andre,
Welcome--
First, I would advise you to purchase, and READ, a GOOD copy of the Service Manual & a copy of my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" ( PM me to purchase)(see my earlier post about "Seeburg Service Manual problems")--IF --you have basic electro/mechanical skills. If not, IMHO, it would be prudent (and probably less costly) to hire a person that knows Seeburg Jukeboxes. Ron Rich

Ron,

Yes I know I need to do some more Homework in terms of research and reading. Thanks for your reply, so. I think I have enough electro / mechanical skills to get it fixed and with the help in this forum it should be really doable. Already ordered your book yesterday night. It had great reviews and seems to be to only one on the market. I will keep you posted on my progress...
