DS160 pricing unit broken wire.

Hello, first time poster here I have bought a DS160 and have been working my way through it but now I am now stumped on the pricing unit and I don't have a schematic for it as the one I have is the SPU1. My problem is there are three wires that are broke off and I have not a clue where they go because the schematic I have is for the USPU1
1. the blue/white wire from the normally closed switch on the timing relay
2. Yellow wire coming into the unit from the coin selector
I am pointing to the plug location that the yellow wire comes from
3. White wire, both common to the little credit solenoids
Any help would be appreciated, also attached are the pictures for reference.
Thanks
Brad

Burnt Brad, you should be able to find a schematic here:
http://www.visoncd.com/downloads/seebur ... e_plus.pdfThe quality is not great, but probably adequate for tracing the wiring harness.

Hi Burnt,
Well, # 1., that ain't the correct pricing unit for a DS--don't know if it will work or not--All DS models came equipped with a USPU-1.
I will look later, as I THINK, I may have a SPU--- somewhere--if so I will post answers. BTW--do not count on wire colors, as those had many production runs, and may have changed wire color--Ron Rich

Rich,
I have a Franken-juke I did not realize that until I got the manual, I have the SPU1 with the TSU1 Code B and the Proper Amp SHFA5 I have cleaned and re-oiled the mechanism VIA the Seeburg Mechanism Guide

and have the TSU recapped.
My Issue now is no coins will accept so the Latch Bar solenoid does not function, but it will select and play by holding both letter and number down so my next logical step is to make sure the SPU is functioning properly.
Thanks
Brad

Brad,
You have "jogged" my memory--that combination of TSU-TES,and SPU can not function together. You will need to purchase a Service Manual for the "Y" model series phonos, and look at the DIFFERENT, TES and SPU start, schematics. Then modify the TES as needed, and I think it will work. As an alternate, if you wish the phono to be set on "free play", an electronic pricing unit replacement, is available. (If you wish PM me as I sell them). Ron Rich

Rather than buy the proper pricing unit, and the fact that I was going to have it on free-play I purchased the free-play unit from Ron and installed it today and it works perfectly. I do have one last issue that I will start a new thread on when I get my thoughts together
Thanks
Brad
