The mute plug is also on the amplifier--marked "mute"--
I do not understand how you are "plugging your mini speakers"-- "into the CD players OUTPUT JACKS" ?
But I would suggest you quit doing such, as you could cause problems !
I would look in the phone book for someone able to repair it--under "Phonographs, Coin Operated", or "amusement devices"--make a few calls, and I'm sure someone will "pop-up".
