Rockola 484 No 9.6v power (LED not lit)

I've spent a lot of time pouring through the Service Manual, the Internet and these forums but can't seem to come up with any solutions.

My problem: Jukebox powers, lights come on. magazine does not spin, no display lights come on. the 9.6v LED is not lit (which explains why nothing turns and there are no display lights). On the rectifier board fuse F101 (1 amp Slo-blo) will eventually blow around 45 seconds after power on.

I have no voltage on the pink wire coming out of the power supply. The service manual says to check the LED, but doesn't really say what to look for if it's not lit. I apologize up front if this issue has been addressed somewhere, and if it has please point me to it.

Fuses blow because something down the line from it is pulling too much current/faulty/shorted.
The normal troubleshooting procedures for this should pinpoint the problem, and of course what needs to be replaced.

One should NEVER replace any fuse, more then once--doing so can cause additional (expensive) problems. You will need to get out the schematics, and trouble shoot that circuit. If you don't have the skills necessary, I would suggest you find some help, prior to doing any more damage. Ron Rich

What Ron said is very important.
No wrapping fuses in tinfoil, putting in "car" fuses of 30A, or such stuff.
Additional damage can be done in an instant - and render the repairs much more costly.

I had a unit here for repair the other day that had the ("Pig-tail") "fuses" made of solder--needless to say, one, or more of the "solder fuses" did not "blow" in time--extra $100.00 for a new transformer---Ron Rich

Indeed, if you're experienced in electronics theory and service, you'll have the culprit narrowed down in good time.

I had a similar problem a few years ago, i replaced the rectifier board inside the power supply. Although i didn't check every individual component the board just has diodes and caps on it so may have been one or more of the components
