Hi all, my first post!
I have a Wurlitzer 3210 I am having a problem with. I hope someone can help me with this. When the last selection has completed playing, the record is returned to the carousel, the unit starts turning as searching for the next selection although none has been made. This can be just a few inches or can continue indefinitely. I have to switch off the machine to stop it, wait at least two minutes before restarting. Upon restarting it will not move until a selection is made as it should. I have a service manual but haven't found this problem in the trouble shooting guide. Thanks for your help and I really enjoy reading the posts one this site!

Hi,
You are having a problem in one of two areas.
1. The "over-ride switches" that go around the "electrical selector" are "sticky", or, 2., the relay that they operate is sticky, or magnetized.
The switches usually can be checked with your eyes. The relay can be "thumped" with your thumb and finger, when all pins are in the stored position. Ron Rich

Hi Ron, an update,
I checked the "over-ride" switches and they seemed to be ok. I began tapping and happened to tap on the amp and the unit stopped moving. I pulled out the amp and located the relay and started experimenting with it and corrected the problem. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate the help. Thanks for the everything!!!!!. F A Richard.
