I have a bicentennial edition magnavox early american style stereo. There is a turn table, 8 track tape player and an AM/FM radio in it. Where can I find out if this unit is worth anything? Does anyone know? Thanks.

If you like the cabinet style and it fits well in the decor of a room in your house then it is worth putting some money in it to have it properely restored. this means overhaul of radio/amp chassis, cleaning and lubricating the turntable and 8 track. checking needles and cartridge in turntable. You will NOT make any money selling this after overhaul but it will last a very long time with dependible service if proper overhaul is done

I am the original owner and as far as I know there is not anything wrong with it. The only problem is....no speakers. When my sons were teenagers they blew the speakers. Do you know where I can obtain speakers for it? Is this unit worth keeping?

Blown speakers could also result in a damaged amplifier.
Nevertheless, after 40 years, it's best to have it overhaulled anyway.
I'm sure the record changer is now in need of work as well by now.

Replacement parts are available, but best to have a tech go over it.

Worth keeping? - I leave that answer up to the owner.
