Hello Everyone,

I'm currently running 4 JBL LX300s on my Berkeley Wallmount wired to E5 in parallel. I've been told that is ok. If it isnt please tell me.
Secondly I have a Kenwood SW-36HT powered Subwoofer just laying around. The subwoofer only has one line input. Using the left channel output from the mech board it woofers sounds incredible but theres no way to control the voume so the woofer responds with the volume control on the Berkeley. I've noticed an AUX port wiith IN OUT GROUND IN OUT on it. Can I attach the line input and gnd to one of the out jacks and gnd and be able to run the Kenwood powered subwoofer and have the volume control raise and lower the sound without doing any damage to anything. Scared to move forward.

I am not quite clear on what you are attempting to accomplish ?
If you want the sub-woffer to be controlled by the jukebox volume control --split the channels.
Connect one wire to E-1 on one side and the other wire to any other "E" terminal on the other channel. The higher up in number you go, will change the relationship of the sub to the other speakers, and should result in a "controllable" sub--.
One thing on those amps to watch--play a LOUD selection, with the volume turned up--Look for red "flashing LED's" --If not, or just, flashing, it's OK -If flashing a lot, or on steady, your amp, IS, overloaded !! Ron Rich

The Sub Woofer only has a rca jack on it labeled "Line In", not other jacks. If I understood my googling today that means it need a low input such as a "Line out" port would provide. So to see if it would work I used a rca to rca cord connected from the rca output of the mech board to the :line in" jack on the sub woofer. It sounded amazing. I think the speaker output taps would be way to much power to just feed the left side or the right side into the line in on the sub woofer. I had read a post from 2007 about hooking up a slave amp to the "Aux out and the Aux GDN to control the slave amp. I think the AUX out pin is 600mv.(?) I was wondering if I could use those pins to feed the powered sub woofer sort of a "Line out signal" that may possibly respond with the raising and lowering of the jukebox volume. More or less like a Slave amp would? I'm sorry for not being clear - - pretty new to this stuff.

You do realize that the RCA plug, and jacks have two wires going to them ---A "tip", ( inner post on the plug) and a "ring" (outer shell on the plug).
Either cut off the plug, or find a small jumper with a jack on it and separate the two wires. Connect as I wrote before--OR, I can't recall, try using E7 on one, E-1 on the other--sliding the E-1 end to a larger number should lessen power ( volume) to the sub ( like I just said--can't recall).
