New Seeburg SMC/100-79 MCU

by Ron Rich » Mon Aug 16, 2010 12:08 am

Hi All,
After months of designing and intensive testing--it's ready ! A totally new MCU (whole computer), which is designed for ALL Seeburg SMC and 100-79M models. This new MCU replaces about 40 "chips" with just two, and one of them is the display driver. Simply remove the old three board system and replace it with the new single board ! About 30 minutes max ! It even "cures" the problems associated with the board in the "PCC". It preforms all the functions as did the original, plus, adds more--such as true "Free Play" (if desired). coin set-up from the key board. +++
For a limited time, if purchased from me, I will remove the old unit and install the new one into your metal box, set it up as per your wishes, and check your PCC board at no charge (repairs, if needed are extra)--of course you will need to ship me the metal (MCU) container and the board--and pay an extra $5 for shipping. This should allow your jukebox to be "up and running" in 5 minutes or less--
Contact me for more info-- ronnnrich@yahoo.com Be SURE to use 3 "n's" in roNNN--

Hi Ron,

I take it that the new MCU is for the late 70's early 80's Seeburg jukeboxes such as the 1978 SMC1 Disco and 1979-81 Phoenix.
What other models is it suitable for?

Needless to say the dealers/owners of this type of jukebox owe you a great debt.

Regards
Alan

Hi Alan,
Yes--ALL SMC models (BTW the first one was a 1979 model--like most "burg's" introduced in Sept the year prior)--and the 100-79M.
