Hi Spudman,
In this case, I guess it's time for you to re-invent, or re-design "the wheel"
I sorta live by a different "rule": If it ain't broke, don't fizzit !

Hey man, Thanks ! Your reply reminded me of a friend who just passed away--
He had skills that far exceeded mine, and I often asked him "questions", which he was happy to answer. But he had one little "quirk"--He almost never asked me (or anyone else) anything--he would spend days, in an attempt to figure it out himself, before asking. About 8 months ago, he spent an entire week on a machine, in an attempt to understand why it was doing what it was-- He finally called me and said he was frustrated, and apologized for having to ask a question. Before hearing his question, I told him the same thing I had told him countless other times--"we all get into the forest, and can not see the trees, at sometime"--he said "yea-but---".
So I said "what's your question" --and he told me what this jukebox was doing. I was sorta in shock, at his question, and said "it's doing exactly what it SHOULD do !"
He answered, "S--t, you mean, I spent a whole week, on this thing trying to fix, what ain't broke ??" "Boy, am I STUPID, or what ??"
