I was playing a record on the unit. I tried to advance the needle towards the end of the record so it would finish playing sooner.
When I did this it was like all power was lost? Now nothing happens? I have power to everything. .When a coin is deposited it just drops through the rejector and right into the money drawer.
Everything was working fine. I have ordered all of the manuals just waiting for them to arrive.
I read something about a magnet, or switch?
Thanks!

Hi Slapshot,
I would assume that your moving the needle was a co-incidence. I further assume that either the wall outlet, the power cord, the internal power cord, the "on/off switch", failed( un-plugged itself?), or the main fuse has blown. If it's the main fuse, replace with NO larger then a 5 Amp fast blow type--if that blows, you will need to track down the problem, and fix it prior to changing that fuse again.

The trip lever was stuck. I operated the lever and than it pulled a record out of the rack. Still not sure why the coin mechanism it's tripping the solenoid now. I was watching a video on YouTube last night and saw him move the lever up and down.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzycqHZnXCkI think I should just wait for the manual. I have the machine working a few different ways, but it's by no mean working correctly.
Thanks!

IMHO,you have just "given yourself" the "best advice"--wait for the manuals--and, being a "wiseguy", if you have not yet purchased it, my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" should be of help to you--PM me if you wish--
As for the credit coil staying energized, the only thing that can cause this is a "stuck" credit switch( May have had some "help"--caution, they bend easily, and are almost impossible to "un-bend"). Ron Rich

I bought your manual and (2) others from Victory Glass. I also bought the DVD restoring the Seeburg.
