You can use 2-# 2182 lamps wired in series, to replace the one, in each channel. Be sure to "glue" them to the PCB.

Thanks for your replies. I was told by a parts supplier that bulb #161 would work. I tried them but although I do get a thump when I power on the amp, I still get no sound when a record is playing. I put a spare amp in and I have sound so I know everything else is good. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dan

Try a Christmas tree style replacement lamp.
