Is there anyone who can ease my pain?

A couple of nights ago my beloved eight year old Rock-Ola CD-8 Bubbler just stopped playing.

As it was very late at night I switched off & after a broken night’s sleep got straight on it.

On switching on, an error message scrolled along the display of “Amplifier Error, Amplifier not found.

After perusing the service manual I viewed the error codes, which came up with error present in CPU. The error code that it was showing was C17, but the error list only goes up to C16?

As I physically look at the Amp there are no lights on the Internal Amp display or the External Amp. All the lights are on the Power Status display.

Can anyone relieve my pain, because I’m truly stumped, not to mention distraught.
