New guy here - I accidentally bought a bunch of jukeboxes...

...and I am trying to determine the best course of action. I just bought a storage unit because I am an in the arcade game hobby and there were a bunch of arcade video games in the thing. Near the back of the unit I discovered several jukeboxes. I don't have pictures or models on all of them yet but I will be getting them over the next week or so probably. They don't look "fancy" so I'm not thinking they are high-dollar units or anything but I'm also looking to find a home for them and don't want to see them get destroyed. Which leads me to question #1:
What's the best way to go about finding a value on these things? One of them is a CD juke but I think the others are all 45's. The only one I have pictures of so far is this one which I seem to recall being a Rockola 494:

Also, I have a LOT of these amplifiers. Here's a pic of just a few. Some have tubes and some appear to be later model ones. If I was to start selling them and shipping them, how would I go about determining a fair price on them? Is there even interest?

And I have boxes and boxes of tubes like this: Again, are you guys looking for this stuff? And if so what kind of value should I put on them?

I also have some miscellaneous other parts but I'm still digging things out. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. I'm rather overwhelmed and would like to see the stuff go to someone who can really appreciate them. Thanks guys! Oh yeah, I'm in Martinez, California.

Well a lot of folks have read this and no responses....which I suppose answers my question about there being any interest in this stuff. I'll post pictures and models of the other units when I get them and if anyone is interested let me know. Otherwise I may just haul the stuff off or try to give it away on CL.

Hi jehuie,
Welcome to the forum.
I would identify what you have, the jukebox types and model numbers, with regards to the tubes again list the tube numbers and condition of the tubes.
When you have all the information put it on the for sale section of the forum.

Of the components, I see two Rowe/AMi amps that appear to be missing preamp boards and one appears to have that board. the pink units are from mid-sixties Seeburgs. Try to determine the degree of completeness of each machine or amp.
There is a (limited) market for this stuff but since it is untested and you probably don't want to get into it, I'd suggest you get model numbers and then place F-S ad's. on various message boards. here are a few more:

http://www.alwaysjukin.com/ D/L a sample and check the ad's for the numbers of places that sell/repair jukes near you.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I have something like 7 truckloads of stuff to go through but I'll try to inventory anything that looks promising and start trying to sell it then. I should have the model numbers and pics of the jukes this weekend if all goes well and I can post them to see if there is any interest.

The link you were given "Always' jukin' "http://www.alwaysjukin.com" sells a price guide that helps identify and price Juke boxes.
As to parts you may wantt o spend a little time on ebay and see what these parts sell for and how they are listed to help people identify the parts.

I'd prefer not to say how much I paid but I basically paid the back fees on the storage unit for all the games and jukeboxes and stuff. There's some pics in my flickr account if anyone wants to see them. If you wade in 6 or 7 pages you will see what the storage unit looked like when I got there. Most of the others are just pictures of parts and games that I bought although one other jukebox is shown as well I believe. But there are more in the back I am hoping to go get this weekend. But yeah, there was a number of arcade video games and a really cool coin-operated cartoon viewing booth and a bunch of other stuff. I think it was a decent deal but it's a lot of work!
Ok....here's the other juke:

And here's a link to the flickr photostream. Everything in the first 7 pages is from the storage unit:

I posted a list of items that I found so far on the klov forums. In the list I posted a comment next to any item that looked like it might not be complete or had obvious issues. All items are untested. Make me an offer on anything you are interested in. Here's the link:

Hi Jehuie,
I have a Wurlitzer 3700 that is in dire need of a working amp. It limped along on one channel for the last few months and now the second channel blew. This is a 556 amp and was in a few other models in the 70's. I have heard I can also use a 553 Amp.

Geezer49,
IMHO, it would probably be better to have your correct amp, repaired, then to take a chance on one that has been "sitting around"-- Ron Rich
