How Do I remove a cartridge?

Thanks for the links...But how do i take out the cartridge...the needle looks like a little square with prongs and a rubber piece that the needle is glued to...it fits right into the "cartridge" i think....i am a NEWBIE to the whole repairing side of this..but i am addicted to the sound of vinyl...You can understand.

Do you want to remove the cartridge, itself, which holds the stylus in place or just the stylus portion?

If it's the stylus you want to remove, we'll need to know the make and model of your record player.
