Hi Preston,
Just above the "regular posts" in all forum sections, are the "information, and stickies"---there is a "flock" of them in the Jukebox section--Ron Rich

Preston, we need to see a pattern to help diagnose this problem.
Do the errors all-mostly occur on either letters or numbers?
When an error occurs, does play a higher, or lower letter or number than selected?. Bear in-mind that the fewest set of pulses are for A-1 and the longest pulse train is for K-10.
Did you try the small screwdriver test I described? If the wheels are not homing due to gummy tarnish on the silver contacts, they will start from a higher position than they should and miscount.
Also, if the transfer relay falls-out too soon it will transfer some letter pulses to the number stepper, (this is rare). The center hold magnet keeps the stepper wheels in their advanced positions between pulses and for a short time after the last pulse arrives. Check that this coil is staying down solidly till just after the last pulse and write-in?
