Magnavox astro sonic

I just been given a Magnavox astro sonic model # 3RP656 and looking for the value on it. The only date that I can find looks like 1966. The turntable don't turn and the volume is a little touchy still sounds really great though and the cabinet is very clean. any info on it would be great. Thanks

Location, location, location. I've gotten beautiful ones for as little as $25 bucks, in great working condition. I've never paid more than $40-50 for a console at a thrift store.

If there's nothing special about your particular model, don't expect much. Do some homework and check the older emails regarding turntable issues, needles/cartridges, scratchy/noisy controls and value. The reading will be informative and entertaining.--BB
