Seeburg DS-160

by recore » Fri Jan 19, 2007 4:11 am

Hi All
I just purchased a DS-160 and have it all working!! Except for the fact that it has a SHFA1 amp rather than the SHFA5 and no ear speakers. Does anyone know if the ear speakers contain just the tweeters or does it have the bass also? Thank you

I have a ds 100 in restoration that came with an SHFA1 aswell. I think the 100 was supposed to habve shfa4? Anyways mine had no ears aswell, i installed tweeters in the cabinet between the main drivers. Do you notice a distortion on the sound of "s" like in the word "snow"?

When you installed the tweeters in the cabinet, did you include the crossover capacitor?
