Magnavox 832/Knight 924

My favorite combination at the moment, these "dumpster dive" specials, resurrected from the grave:

Thanks to alll the seasoned posters here whose shared insights helped make this possible!

Dan, ya done good... :D

It's amazing what you can do with dumpster dives, and you've helped salvage some pieces in our audio history. How is the speed issue on your micromatic...a little fast or slow? All my W700 series run abit on the slow side. --BB

Hi Bobby -

So far I haven't detected a speed issue - sounds sweet to my ears, and I've been spinning both 78s and 33s over the past 3 weeks.
However it does have that seemingly typical Magnavox motor warm-up quirk (regardless of my attempts in disassembling, cleaning and
oiling the motor)- when first started, it runs slightly slow and warbly but after two minutes, runs trouble-free
for hours afterwards. I can live with that (lol).
