To test--scan mechanism to RH and remove the motor fuse select #277, and turn motor coupling to point the it detents, then slightly past so the detent coil is not energized. Check to see if it has stopped on 277 or 276. If on 277, probably an oil related problem. If on 276, check display --if it shows 277, it is probably the limit switch problem.
