Please help Wurlitzer 3600 not playing

by baidge13 » Sun Mar 23, 2014 3:04 am

Just purchased Wurlitzer 3600. Was working fine on free play, decided to hook up coin operation and now it won't play any records. We switched back to free play and hooked everything up back the way it was when it was operating fine, and now the deposit additional coins is staying lit up and we aren't able to select anything. The keyboard selector switch will not engage. What am I missing?

Without a crystal ball, I, nor, do I believe, anyone, can say, other than "you done something rong".
In order for the keyboard to become active, on free, or coin play, the latch bar coil, and the credit lamp must be energized. This is accomplished by a "ground path" from either the BO/AC, or a jumper plug inserted in it's place. Since the add coins lamp is lit, I would guess, that your BO/AC is either "messing up" or the coin switch(s) are messing up---Ron Rich
