Can't seem to find a 24v 21w bulb for the Wurlitzer One More Time jukebox. I can find the bulb as an automotive bulb, but it only has a life span of 150 hours. Can find it in the UK, but not state side and shipping would be a killer form the UK. Any ideas?

Kent,
You talkin' 'bout the one that fits in the bottom of the door--I've used a couple of large diodes to cut that voltage to about 10/11 volts, and used an American numbered lamp there--runs cooler, lasts forever--- Ron Rich

Now that's an idea!! Yes for the lower part of the door. The one that is there gets very warm on the plastics.

I've got a few of those and I'm only about 15 to 20 miles west of you ! If you have the one more time Cd it actually takes 2 of these. One for the star and one for the bottom arch. One goes out the other doesn't light either...replace both at the same time because the other will probably go soon ! I've got $4.00 a piece in them ,I'll let you have them at my cost. Always like to help out another juker! Send me a private message and I can fix you up ! Doug

The one in the star is working. Someone removed the entire light and socket for the bottom one. It actually looks to have been ripped off the wiring, and the other 2 wires are put together to light the star. I have a socket from and older vehicle I am going to use to replace missing socket. Doug, Are the automotive bulbs you have 24v?

Kent,
If there are two lamps, wire them in series--use12-14 volt auto lamps --Ron Rich

I think that's the best to do so it will cut down on the heat.

Kent, The ones I have are 24v-21w-ba15 .They work well. But I think Ron probably has the right idea about running 2 -12v in a series .These blubs should last a long time . I'd be careful when working with these wires not to short out anything because they are on the same circuit as the 24v opto sensor . Trust me you don't want to have problems there. Just be careful take your time . Doug
