I have a large Motorola Stereophonic Record player just sitting in my basement, I was cleaning up and was wondering what year it was made. It doesnt say anywhere on the player. I was hoping one of you could tell me!
The model number is SK68WA
and serial number is 869849
It is in very nice condition but I couldnt find anything on it when I searched the internet.
Thanks for the help!
~Ben

I also have an Akai Reel Recorder gx220d it perfect mint condition..I was wondering the year of that also.

Thank you for any info!

Ben, it dates to 1962. I had one of these SK series a few years back. It has a good preamp, amp and even a reverb. But I couldn't keep it and couldn't interest anyone about it so I parted it out. Did same thing with another similiar "big" one loaded with 6V6 tubes if I recall right. Still kinda wanted to keep one with a reverb. So now I have a nice Zenith with a reverb that I plan on holding on til the end.

Don't know about your gx220d. Is it tube type or solid state?
