IMHO, that tone arm wire looks way to "fat" and stiff for that application ? Ron Rich

Yes, I am kind of wishing that I didnt pull the tonearm off,but I felt at the time it was necessary to see how the wire was placed. If I had known it was going to be such a touchy situation I might have tried to put the wire in without the removal. Well I am hoping somehow I can figure this out.

The tonearm wire is actually a little smaller then what was there, but the original was a cloth insulation and the new one is a plastic which might be contributing to my issue. It does seem to be pretty flexible, but it apparently it only takes one tiny little thing to make a difference

Problem solved!!! The tonearm wire runs through the turntable to the tonearm arm bracket and clips to the bracket. There was a twist in the wire just enough so when the record started playing the twist in the wire created tension on the tonearm bracket and kicked the record back to the beginning.I took the wire out of the tonearm and unraveled the twist (and the twist was minor) put it back together and it works great!!!! Thanks for all your help.
