seeburg Ls1-160 spectra

I have recent\ly purchased a ls1 that sat in a basement for YEARS i have cleaned the tormat and the carriage will not move, when you make a selection,the solenoids latch, and the motor runs constantly, it will pick up a record and play it, but wont move,i have yet to get a manual, any help is appreciated,and location of a manual or person to purchase from also needed thanks mike.

Sounds as if the clutch is not dropping --probably due to the safety plunger being "frozen", and lack of oil on the clutch member (plus the whole mechanism) itself.

Also you will need to have an "Installation and operation Manual", and a Service Manual to go along with it--

Thanks Sir, it was seized cleaned and lubed, works ok now <i have sent an e-mail> one last problem there are a 3 fingerd part that resembles tiny feeler guages on top of the carriage (i believ these are for showing your selection) these were mangled and i need new,and a manual so i can call out parts
