Welcome to the Board!
There are alot of great folks here that can help you. That cabinet/model# that you have isn't of much help. That cabinet could have been used for several years, but the "guts" could be different.
Remove the back and look for numbers on the radio/chassis (if they are separate), and turntable. That's how you find service manuals for these, and a date sticker, too.
If you need a new needle, you need to get the number off the cartridge first and cross reference that to get what you need. the FAQ section should help you with that. Everything under that hood is treated as a separate entity.
As far as wires being disconnected, there should be a wiring diagram pasted somewhere inside for the speakers/crossover network, turntable connections, antenna and pilot light. A service manual will reveal more as in the samples presented below. It kinda concerns me as to why those wires were disconnected in the first place.
I bought an Astro-Sonic years ago, and so glad I never plugged it in. Motor wires (and others) were snipped like sabbotage, as if someone did it deliberately.
Welcome again, and if you have the time and interest, cruise through some of the old postings and you'll get a great education about these old beasts. --BB
