Seeburg Clutch not switching from play to search

Hello!

My seeburg tooks a record and after putting it back it Stucks some times. If i tap on the mech, it works correctly. I think it is the clutch. What can i do?

Which model Seeburg ? When was the last time it was oiled with the proper oil ?

I oiled the LS2 Jukebox a Month ago.

Hi Max,
Did you use 20 wt, ND oil ?? How "dirty" is the mechanism ??

Yes--there were German versions of the LS-1 Service/Parts, and I&O manuals. Check this forum above, in the jukebox section, for a seller in Germany--Ron Rich
When it fails to move, what is happening--any "sound" from the mechanism ?

The mech is moving but very slow with clack-clack-clack.

OK--that usually indicates a worn out clutch member, due to lack of proper oiling, or dirt build up.
It can also indicate a mal-adjusted clutch -- IF, someone has "re-adjusted it". If this is happening only in one direction, adjusting clutch #1 down, VERY slightly, may temporally work. Another thing that sometimes happens is the larger of the two clutch yoke pins works loose. This is rare, but requires changing/repairing it, and changing the clutch member. Ron Rich
