Seeburg LPC-1 help

by tgloebig » Wed Apr 11, 2007 2:43 am

I'm new to this forum and don't quite know what to expect so here goes.

I inherited this jukebox a while back and finally got around to trying to get it to work. The lights come on and various relays make noise, but the carriage doesn't move and the records don't move either. I'm going to try to fix this myself and know I will need to buy a manual, so I won't ask for any technical answers.

I was just wondering if anyone has an idea of what might be broken and what repairs/parts might be required.

I've looked over Tony Miller's website and it looks like he's provided some clues, but I have no idea what the triggering device is or how to check the Write-In voltage. I'm fairly handy with repairs and electronics so if there is some kind of general kind of "getting started" guide for jukebox repair, I'd appreciate some direction.

Thanks,
Tom

I would start with the service manual, and consider getting a copy of my new 'Seeburg Console-Era Jukeboxes', which covers this machine. The manual is available from http://www.alwaysjukin.com or http://www.victoryglass.com. My book is available on my website http://home.pacbell.net/fmillera/books.htm

Cheers,

Tony Miller
