Hello everyone! My name is Ryan and I am new to the site. I have been scouring the web for this perticular record changer with no luck. The motorola Goldenvoice record changer out of my 59 sk22m console, it is a BSR model. The record stabilizer arm was broken off by an idiot. If anybody knows where in the world i can find the arm assembly or just the changer itself Let me know. thank you!!

Most motorola units from that time period I have seen are VM changers, not BSR. i see changers from motorola consoles on ebay all the time. If it is a VM, Gary Stork from the VM website might be able to supply a part, otherwise a parts unit off ebay is your best bet. Motorola made some nice consoles, I have a 1961 Motorola SK77 with a VM changer, converted to FM stereo with a Heathkit demultiplexer added to it. It sounds great, and even has enough bass to do Jimi Hendrix justice.

The OP never mentioned where he was from.
If the console is of Canadian manufacture, it's possible the changer is british.
I know RCA Victor phonos made for the Canadian market used BSR, Collaro or Garrard units.

Once the old filters are replaced and the unit gone over, certainly.

Its a nice unit, Walnut cabinet by Drexel, 3 channels of push pull 6v6 amplification. The center channel is for bass and feeds a 15" woofer. The unit had been re-capped when i got it, but the changer needed lubing to get it to run at the right speed and play the last record without shutting off prematurely. I'm suprised how good it sounds. Its as good as my regular stereo.It can do justice to Jimi Hendrix cranked up loud.

I've worked on those models.
From your post it apparently seems the person who worked on it wasn't thorough enough to give the changer the needed attention.
And from that I'd suspect shoddy "re-capping" as well.

Find someone who's reputuable, with good references, to check it out and provide the needed service.

I've never had one come back for un-serviced issues mentioned.
