Wurlitzer latch solenoid

I have a Wurlitzer 3500 and the selector buttons were sticking, as well as some of the latch pins weren't popping up. I used my manual and started adjusting all the selector latches and such. Now all of a sudden I have no power to the latch solenoid. Don't know what I did as I said I was following the sequence of my manual. Also none of the DC circuit breakers reset....my wife's gonna kill me, what have I done???

Murry,
I hate to tell you this--you have "committed the cardinal sin"--"adjusting on something, what don't need adjusting".
As of now, you have me as confused as you are--which "latch pins", where were "sticking"--Also, I assume you mean that the keyboard buttons that are used to make a selection were sticking, and that the solenoid (coil) in the keyboard, is what you are talking about ?
If that IS the solenoid you are talking about, I assume you have established credits--if so, tell me what happens if you push the pole piece in ?

Hey Ron thanks for replying. I have it selecting songs and they are playing correctly selected songs. My problem now is when I select a song, the carousel starts turning, something clicks, then the solenoid below the keyboard reverses releasing the letter latch but not the number latch. I then manually release the number latch and the solenoid then closes. What do I need to adjust to get the number latch to release? Thanks again!

Depends on if I understand your problem, correctly--
As I understand it the Keyboard letter pops back up--but the number button stays down ?
If that's the case, determine if the solenoid plunger is relaxing "TOTALLY"--If so, the number "hold down tab" is either "gummy", or some Jepetto has mis-adjusted it. Ron Rich

Lol...definitely the Jepetto. Yes the number stays down but the solenoid won't relax, TOTALLY, until I manually release the number latch.

Is it staying powered ?? Check by turning off main switch when button is "stuck down"--

I figured it out. It was the Release lever adjusting screw. Had it backed out too far where it wasn't letting the number latch release. Something so simple...thanks again for all your help. I'm slowly becoming a juker!
