OT--Request for money

by Ron Rich » Tue Nov 11, 2014 8:12 pm

Hi All,

I never ask for money for my pocket, for anything I help with here--but since it's Veterans Day here today,---If, I have helped you, I am making request that you make a donation to one of the better vets organizations. Any amount that you can afford is fine. If you need a list of them, PM me.
Thank-you,
Ron Rich

We have the long established "Royal British Legion" in this country,

http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/

Volunteers are very organised collecting in store entrances and thousands of other places all over the country. A friend co-ordinates the collections by about a dozen other women. I'm pleased to say that she'll as usual be taking several thousands of pounds from their many collection tins to the bank on Monday.
I keep a poppy on my dashboard all year round as a permanent reminder, I do of course make a donation each year.

I don't mind if you don't like my manners, I don't like them myself, they're pretty bad, I grieve over them on long winter evenings.
