Wurlitzer 1800 issue

Ive recently taken my 1800 apart and cleaned it. When I first tried it, the latch solenoid fired repeatedly like a machine gun. I didnt notice that the latch solenoid resistor had become unattached at one end. I'm not very electrically/mechanically inclined btw. Ive since taken a wire and wrapped it around the end of the resistor and where it connected to. Now once the coin is dropped, the latch solenoid now fires 3 times instead of once and I cannot make a selection. Im not sure if its my connection, or maybe a leaf switch or if something else was damaged when the resistor was disconnected. I shot a short video of it. The same thing happens with the other solenoid in the coin mech. The fuses are ok.

Any ideas are much appreciated. Thanks

WAG, based on operation of Seeburg's, on that issue--the timing relay in the pricing unit is failing-- either dirty contacts, or the coil itself is failing to "pull",for one reason or another---
BTW--that resistor should be soldered--but it probably is not the cause of your problem-IF, it is making good contact. Ron Rich

Thanks for the reply Rich. All of the contacts have been cleaned. This actually fixed a different issue that I had. The credits are still being cancelled right away. Is there anyway to test the relays or latch solenoids to see if they are the problem? I have a multi-meter. Thanks
