Seeburg amp parts list

Does anyone have a parts list for re-capping the SHP amp for an STD3? $70 seems pretty steep for a bunch of capacitors. I'd rather eliminate the middle man.

I just checked out the schematic for electrolytics. They're the most prone to deterioration. The disc type coupling caps are usually good. I also replaced the axial lead wax caps. A good Fluke meter can test caps for their value, but won't check them for leakage. Hope that helps!

Doesn't this amplifier have a couple of expensive "twist prong" can style capacitors? I know it has several axial lead electrolytics on the circuit boards.

Might be worth your time to buys the late Tony Miller's Seeburg SHP amplifier book.

The "Electronic Units Part Catalog" (published by Seeburg) contains a schematic,service notes, and parts lists--
I also suggest that if you re going to work on it, you should purchase (the late) Tony Miller's book--as it can be a little "quarky"--

I plan on ordering (the late) tony millers amp book this week. where do i find the electronic parts catalog? is it available anywhere free on the net. i am also thinking that the dcc might need new caps as well. when playing a record, the motor runs slower than it should. it did this when i first looked at it, but went away as it warmed up. now it is in a cold shop and takes awhile for it to warm up.

ron, on a side note. i ordered your manual i think yesterday.

The electronics book should be included in any package of books for that model. www.alwaysjukin.com sells it, and Tony's book.
I don't know which book of mine you ordered, but if it's the mechnism guide, the motor is covered in it--"Microlog Trouble Shooting" does not--
