Our family has a 1957 Grundig 8095 purchased in Germany, with original dust cover, manual (in German) and replacement stylus. It was serviced in the US recently and is in working condition. We are closing my parents home. How do we determine its value?

If I remember correctly, the 8095 is a relatively small console, as opposed to the 5 and 6 ft long models. While the larger table model Grundigs are certainly in demand, the consoles are not. If any of the family members have an interest in it, it may be worth more to them than it's sale value. If it is a USA version, ( FM 88 to 108) and works well, it would likely top out around $125. German versions ( FM to 100) much less. MAny have sold at garage sales in the $20-30 range. Yet, a few buyers will pay in excess of $100...it really depends on getting the right buyer. They are great radios, just very little market for the console versions.
