Everything keeps going wrong Rockola 437

Everything was working perfect and I decided to clean my Rockola 437. I unscrewed the selector buttons to clean in between. When I reassembled the 3 peices, now it doesn't recognize that there is a coin put in it. The only way I can select a song is by using the credit button. So I decide to relocate the credit button so it can be accessed with the machine closed since the coin slot isn't working... Now the turn table won't spin and the big wheel on the right side of the machine just spins and spins and spins. I feel like I keep making it worse by trying to fix and clean. Please help
