Hi. Iam new to the forum and have a question about a Jukebox that got handed down to me. It is a Seeburg console LPC-1 and the question i have is in regards to adding addtional speakers directly to this unit with a volume control to adjust the volume. Can i run speaker wiring to a remote location and connect speakers to this unit as is( without any type of amp ) at the speaker terminals in the cabinet without overloading it as far as the wattage goes ? If not can i somehow add a channel selector switch and switch between the cabinet speakers and the new speakers?Any info would be a great help. Thanks Dave

Dave,
If you have the "Information and Operation Manual" for that model, it shows many different configurations for different types of speaker hook-ups. The short answer is yes--but you really want to do it correctly, to avoid causing amplifier "problems"-- (Manual set can be purchased at http://www.alwaysjukin.com and other suppliers, I suggest that you NOT buy it off eBay, as most sold there are poor copies, and not sold in sets)-- Ron Rich

Thanks for the info Ron. I do not have the manuals but i will get a set and hopefully will be able to do it without damaging the unit. I will let you know how it goes when all is complete. Thanks dave
