I have a Victor VV-X phonograph that needs a 12" turntable. I have several Victor turntables but the center post hole is too small to fit the motor shaft. The motor shaft is 3/4". Does anyone out there have one for sale?

Is this a table, "spider leg" or floor model -- http://www.victor-victrola.com/X.htm ? What's the serial number? That might help.

According to the Victor Data Book, all VV-Xs were fitted with pressed steel (as opposed to cast iron) turntables, though the earlier ones used the bullet type brake.

Hi Joe, The serial number is 179638J indicating it is a spindle leg model and the brake goes under the turntable.

The spindle/spider leg model, which was discontinued in 1913, had open sides and a shelf -- http://www.victor-victrola.com/X.htm7.jpg The serial number you provided would date your model to 1916, according to the chart at Victor-Victrola, so it should have the "solid sides."
