I'm a jukebox newbie and I need some help from the more experienced.
I just got a Rock-Ola 477 that sets the mechanical overload when the magazine arrives at the selected record. The scan function works fine until the magazine is parked at a record. No problem when the magazine is in the home position. If I disconnect the magazine motor at this point (and reset the overload), the record will load and play normally.
I have been unable to find the source of the trip. I've gone so far as to remove the whole Q301-302 string to eliminate that current path and it still sets the overload. The latching relay appears to be operating fine.
I'm starting to suspect false trips (probably wishful thinking). Does anyone have info on setting the trip point? (R206) I'm afraid to mess with it unless I know what the trip voltage is supposed to be across the .56 ohm resistor.
All suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
