Rock Ola 1478 won't select records

I have a Regis that will not move the pins when I make a selection. The selection buttons seem to work properly when I press them and the basket will search but since there are no pins out , it finally returns and stops. I can move the pins manually and it will find and play that record ( for the pin I moved ) when I make any selection but it will not cancel them either. It will play it and return it and go to the next pin thats out and play and continue on . Never stops searching and playing because pins arent cancelled. I finally just push them in myself.

What do I need to check?
