Seeburg 148 Reproduction Side Plastics Help

by RYANMF » Thu Apr 07, 2016 7:58 pm

Good afternoon gang,

I was wondering if anyone here would reach out to me and give me some advice on the different techniques used to install the reproduction plastics on my trashcan. You cam PM me if you want but I really dont want to screw these up and have to spend that kind of money twice. I appreciate any tips or thoughts on this.

It's been 100 or so, years, since I changed a set of those plastics--seems that you just remove the trim, and replace them ??
If a 148, it should be a metal cabinet--you MAY need to reduce the plastics here and there to fit, depending on who made them, to what "standard"-- Hint:Be SURE the correct number lamps are used--some that "look the same" run too hot, and cause premature shrinkage of that plastic ! Ron Rich
