Derek,
"Clicking" (Micro) switches mean nothing ! To check them you must use an "Analog" meter of good quality (with the power off, an the switch dis-connected), on the "Rx1" setting. Ron Rich

Hello Derek,
Have you checked that the pin is fully out when the stop plate jumps over the pin? I have seen it when a pin that is slightly seized only pushes out about halfway out and the stop plate jumps over it.
I would also check the soldered connections on the stop plate where thee micro switches are soldered to the slip rings.
The annuciator if wired incorrectly can cause a similar fault also can the diodes such as D2, D4 and D5 (note these diodes are connected to a circuit board on the R-74 and R-80 behind the molex plug, on mechanism's on earlier models they are connected to tag strips behind the molex plug).
Please let us know how you get on.
