Sonora: Need Parts and Identification (pics)

Hi,

I have this machine but I cannot work it. The hand crank is missing, the turn table, and who knows what else. Actually, I think that is all. If you can help me acquire parts or help with the ID of the model then thanks!

BTW, Ebay has been useless for this. So if you have parts or know who has I would really appreciate it.

If so many of these things were made why is it that they are so scarce on the internet? Seems like someone would have a site dedicated to them somewhere...

Don't give up your eBay search, Sonora parts and machines may not come up as much as Victor or Edison, but I'd bet something will come up eventually.

Well, this is nowhere near you, so don't know if this would be any help... but this may be the same machine? They're asking for $100.

You could probably find parts for the Sonora by contacting members of one of the antique phonograph clubs. There are several all over the country, but MAPS, which is Michigan Antique Phonograph Society has regional chapters.

Sonoras are highly esteemed among enclosed-horn acoustic consoles.
