Magnavox Micromatic Info Needed!

Hello, first of all I would like to thank all of you for providing such an awesome wealth of knowledge! Secondly I'll get down to the point:

I recently acquired a Magnavox phonograph with the following info:

Model: 1P3402
Finish: PECN
Serial: 1042314
35 Watts

It is a set of end tables which plays radio or records. It is also solid state and no tubes that I can see. I believe that the stylus is broken and possibly the phono cartridge as well. This is my first time tinkering with a turn table, but I am no stranger to electronics. I mainly can't figure out how to get the cartridge off of the tuning arm and see if I need a new one. The stylus is the type that can flip around to do 78 or lp. The stylus fell out the other day...I still have it but it provided no clues to any way of obtaining extra parts for these electronics. Could somebody please shed some light on this item and how I can possibly fix it? Thanks!

What makes you think the cartridge is bad? Record-changer may be able to help you on this. He is well versed on Maggies.
Vinyl is disease which attacks that area of the brain desiring digital recordings. Once you catch it, you are cured.
