The AMI jukebox with the "valve speakers" has turned up again.
Unsold at the original offer price of over £1,000 when I first posted the link and re-listed at progressively more realistic amounts.
Now offered at £100 with no takers and only two days to go.
A very steep learning curve for the hopeful vendor.

See, that's because you and I aren't up with the "sort of technology" in that particular model.

No Oh about it Ron, the vendor was talking complete bollox. That's why I put speech marks round the "valve speakers."

Doghouse,
I was joking--I ASSUME that the term "bollox" is equal to the term "BS", here ?

No, it is a slang term for "male appendages," substitute cks for the final X.

My original terminology is often used on UK message boards, to avoid automatic obscuring on those with such filters.

Yeah, the "valve speakers" is b.s. But the 100£ is a little over $150 here. For a complete "working' unrestored machine that is fair.

Yes but that's just a tenth of what he was originally asking for it.
Although prices tend to be much higher over here, but not that high!
It was then offered again, lots of bids and sold at £270.
But obviously the sale didn't go through.
Then listed again at 99p, then withdrawn.

I think he's a bit pissed off with the whole thing.
It's certainly worth more than £100.

This seller is REALLY a "hopeful"--plus maybe blind ? Ebay # 331323504755--
He writes "Well cared for - Excellent working condition - Sounds terrific!"
I see the following for sure--left bottom corner of the cabinet looks like my dog has been chewing at it. Inspection port cover is missing. Motor wires "poorly spliced" and tangled. Mechanism cover missing. Also, not sure, but it appears that the speakers are hooked up incorrectly--And--there is no photo of the whole right (cash-box) side of the cabinet ( could it have been "broken into" ?? )--And then, you have the asking price ??? Also, I wonder what a "nicrogroved" record looks/sounds like, and where he copied that description from--I know I have seen that, or at least part of that, somewhere before--like maybe the late Tony Millers site ?? Surprised you didn't know the definition of "Nicrogroove."

It means that the machine has been sat in a smoke-filled bar for decades and the tracks of each record are filled with nicotine impregnated tar.
