My wife and i just aquired a piece of furniture from her great grand mother. It is a Pooley cabinet radio Model 1400. I spend one whole night on the computer at every search engine looking for a picture or any information on the piece. I found Pooley cabinet radio but not a Model 1400. Can anyone shine any light on this subject?

Pooley generally made cabinets as accessories for radios made by other manufacturers. We usually think of Atwater Kend radios when we hear POOLEY, but certainly they built cabinets for other radios as well. Does your have a radio inside? I'm guessing the 1400 is the pooley cabinet number, not the radio number. Feel free to PM me if I can help. frank
