Seeburg M100C Cancel Solenoid Linkage

by Burgerjoint55 » Wed Dec 31, 2014 7:41 am

The Cancel Solenoid located on top of the credit and cancel unit, broke tonight. The linkage has two rivets that attach it from the solenoid to the cam. It broke on the solenoid side right at the rivets. Does anyone have any advice on repair?
Thank You,
Bob

Hi Bob,
You will need to "build" new linkage, and re-rivet,or use small screws to attach it --you can use metal, however, it will make more noise, if you do so. Also--when done, the coil MUST BE adjusted as per the manual ! The major reason I have found for this failure, is that the "brass plug" in the core stop is missing, and "someone" re-adjusted the coil, to "compensate". If missing, the brass must be replaced.
