Am having problem with carriage: selected a given record, record is collected by carriage, played, returned to rack, then collected, played, returned, etc. Selector Block does not have any type cancellation solenoid - only way to cancel is manually deselecting record. Even if a selection is made where there is no record, same process happens; selects "phantom" record, then rejects back to rack, etc. Have drawn out electrical diagram of selector block/trip solenoid/clutcn sw/trip switch. Seems clutch switch is activated (closed) then oened, then closed by the cam follower arm. Do not understand the sequence to drop record after play and scan. Have no manual other than that of an H100.
I am searching for a 200LU service manual, but in meantime, any thoughts on the cancellation process would be appreciated.

Sounds as if you're attempting to fix, what ain't broke--selection system on the LU's, is strictly "mechanical"--it's doing exactly what it should do ! ( see above in jukeboxes for where to purchase correct manual package) Also, as far as I know, there is no such ani=mule as a "H100" ?? Ron Rich

Hope I do this note correctly. I pretty much came to the conclusion that all is "mechanical". The Scan/Reject button on amp likely is the manual replacement for the cancellation solenoids found on Seeburg models W-100 or HF-100G. Got the 200LU-1P working fine after a major disassembly, cleaning, and regreasing. Had to repair the PA4 amp which had bad coupling caps; this amp is not easy to work on.

The cancel coils on the 100 SAU type phono's are in no way related to the scan control switch on a LU. The coils serve to "cancel" (or return) the levers ("pins") to a non selected state--On the LU's this must be done by a human's hand ( or a dog's paw ?). Ron Rich

Correct me if I am wrong but if its a 200 LU then its using a Tormat System and does not have a PinBank

As per request----U iz rong-- it uses a mechanical "memory" system, that MUST have a human hand ( or maybe a dogs tail ?) to "flick" the leavers from the non selected state, to the (one, or two record side) selected state, and back to the non-selected state. It is NOT a "coin operated Phonograph", just a record player ( non-coin). Ron Rich

Hi Ron, Wow.... I had always thought that the Seeburg Library Units had the same mechanics as the Hideaway Units until I just saw the following youtube video of a working LU. Completely different..... Those LU's are a really cool... I think I am going to have to get one for my personal collection now...
