Hello...New Guy Here

Howdy from Texas. Guess I'm the new guy on the block. Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Joe from Wichita Falls, and I've been collecting boxes for about 25 years. Over that time, I've owned and sold around 30 boxes. I've never owned anything newer than 1961. My first box was a Rock 1428. Not a bad unit to start with. Wish I still had it.

I currently have a Sburg R, J, Rockola 1438, 1494, and a new CD8c (Bubbler Repro). I worked as a radio DJ for 4 decades and always wanted a jukebox. I finally bought one and wanted more.

When it comes to electrical and mech repairs, I am lacking. I hope to learn a little more from my visit here. I'm probably going to ask questions at some point. I may even be able to offer some advice.

Ron is the best person to talk to with regards to Rock Ola.

Thanks for the compliment--I try, but I sure miss "RockOla Charlie" who had forgotten more about them then I'll ever know--
He was "promoted upstairs" a couple of years ago-- Ron Rich

I guess Alan forgot to say that Ron is also best to talk to about Seeburg.
